Based on Bible Principles
Kokoro-Bushi-Do differs from other martial arts systems in that its teachings, principles, and philosophies are rooted in and in line with biblical principles (Hope, Faith, & Love). It was founded and is operated by believers of Bible principles.
It started with a vision from God (the Eternal Father/Creator)
In September 1997 I received a vision from God (the Eternal Father/Creator) to develop a martial arts system that would focus on spiritual, mental, and physical development, with Jesus the Christ (Light of all lights) as the Head and the power of the Holy Spirit (Inner Spirit) working within us to bring about Father God’s (the Eternal Father/Creator) perfect will. Thus "Soke" Dr. Benson Campbell began developing Kokoro-Bushi-Do Kempo Karate, which at the time was called Control & Creation Martial Arts. The main focus was on birthing Spirit Warriors—people who are spiritually, mentally, and physicaly submitted to the will of Father God (the Eternal Father/Creator) through Christ Jesus (the LIght of all lights). The system was eventually renamed Kokoro-Bushi-Do Kempo Karate in November 2001.
We choose harmony..... but we will survive
The Spirit Warrior Way is to be in harmony with everything and everyone around us, but if forced to, we will survive. We will do no more and no less of what it takes to control and neutralize any situation that threatens harm to our loved ones or ourselves. At the same time, we always have mercy on the attackers life if he allows us to do so - so that he or she may be restored into relationship with our Father God (the Eternal Father/Creator) through repentance and a confession of Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior (the Light of all lights).
We are a Christian based art, but we welcome all.....
Though Kokoro-Bushi-Do Kempo Karate is based on biblical principles and Christian faith, we never seek to oppress anyone's free will. Doing so would violate the very respect for human free will that Father God (the Eternal Father/Creator) himself established. We do strive, however, to be witnesses to the truth of the Gospel of Christ Jesus (the Light of all lights) and it is our hope that through our teaching individuals will be enlightened to a better way of life. We gladly welcome and accept all who would come and study with us and invite them to take the oppurtunity to come into their own understanding as they submit to our teachings.
